Amazon Web Services invests $1 billion to establish a new AI division

Odaily Planet Daily News On June 30, local time, Amazon Web Services (AWS), the cloud computing service platform under the US tech giant Amazon, announced an investment of $1 billion (approximately RMB 6.8 billion) to establish a new artificial intelligence division dedicated to assisting clients in building and deploying AI systems.

Amazon Web Services stated that it plans to deploy thousands of frontline engineers. These teams will collaborate closely with clients' business, R&D, and security departments, enabling them to help clients build an independently operational technical team and deliver complete AI solutions within just a few weeks. According to foreign media reports, Amazon Web Services is the world's largest cloud service provider by revenue and the first hyperscale cloud vendor to launch such a specialized on-site engineer service.
