Binance Charity will donate $3 million to support users affected by the earthquake in Venezuela
On June 30, Odaily Planet Daily reported that to help users affected by the recent earthquake in Venezuela, Binance Charity announced it would donate a total of $3 million in 20 USDT token vouchers to eligible Binance users, and implement a 7-day fee waiver for C2C trading and Binance Pay merchant transaction fees to help users in the affected areas cope with current difficulties.
Eligible users for the token vouchers will be identified based on their POA and eKYC identity verification completed before June 26, 2026. Applicable regions include the hardest-hit areas of La Guaira, Distrito Capital, Miranda, Aragua, Carabobo, Falcón, and Yaracuy. Eligible users will receive the corresponding funds within 30 days of completing POA.
Additionally, Binance will introduce fee reduction measures for commonly used services by Venezuelan users. All C2C transaction fees denominated in VES will be waived immediately for 7 days. Meanwhile, transaction fees for all merchants in Venezuela that accept Binance Pay as a payment method will also be waived immediately. These activities will last until July 2, 2026, local time.
