US Senate Lawmakers: Crypto Tax Bill Could Be Unveiled as Early as This Fall

Odaily Odaily reports that U.S. Senate Republican tax writer Steve Daines stated that the framework for cryptocurrency tax legislation being advanced in the Senate is largely taking shape, and the relevant bill could be unveiled as early as this fall.

Daines said the framework has "more similarities than differences" compared to the cryptocurrency tax proposal previously released by the House Ways and Means Committee, and expressed hope that a markup session could be held this year to advance the bill's review process.
