All parties agreed that the technical teams would continue to work on issues necessary for the effective implementation of the Iran-US memorandum of understanding. "The work of the negotiation team ends here." Baghaei said that Iran and the US discussed topics such as issuing licenses for Iranian oil sales and unfreezing Iranian assets, achieving good progress. Baghaei stated: "In a sense, we had a very long day today. The talks started on Sunday morning. During the quadrilateral talks, the US made threatening statements, leading Iran to declare it was unwilling to continue the quadrilateral talks under such circumstances."
