According to Odaily, Thai police and relevant authorities conducted a joint operation in five provinces in the northeast, raiding 14 locations. They seized 315 cryptocurrency mining machines suspected of illegally connecting to the power grid and tampering with meters to steal electricity. The total power loss amounted to approximately 40.38 million Thai Baht, equivalent to about 8.3 million yuan. This includes 5.38 million Thai Baht in fines for power violations and roughly 35 million Thai Baht in unpaid electricity bills.
