Ripple invests in African fintech company Flutterwave, which is valued at approximately $3.3 billion

Odaily reported that African fintech company Flutterwave has sold a portion of its equity to blockchain company Ripple, valuing the company at $3.3 billion post-transaction.

Flutterwave CEO Olugbenga Agboola stated that the partnership aims to accelerate the company's growth through payment business expansion and strategic collaboration, but did not disclose Ripple's investment amount or stake size. Flutterwave currently operates in 35 African countries. (Bloomberg)
