Odaily Planet Daily News, according to Reuters: Senior Iranian officials stated that according to a draft memorandum with the United States, Tehran has agreed not to produce or acquire nuclear weapons. In the draft memorandum, the United States agreed that Tehran would dilute its stockpile of highly enriched uranium within Iran, with the specific mechanism to be discussed over the next 60 days. Under the draft memorandum, the United States will waive oil sanctions on Iran for a specified period, allowing Iran to sell oil and receive revenue. Iran will immediately reopen the Strait of Hormuz to all commercial vessels, while the United States will lift the maritime blockade. The United States has agreed to release $25 billion in frozen Iranian assets, through means including direct cash transfers, cooperation among regional countries, and financial credit lines.
