Odaily Planet Daily News, June 12, according to Gate market data, Korean and Japanese stock markets opened higher. South Korea's KOSPI index opened up 519.25 points, or 6.69%, at 8,283.2 points. Japan's Nikkei 225 index opened up 880.53 points, or 1.37%, at 65,097.80 points.
