US stock market cap-to-GDP ratio rises to 238%, hitting an all-time high

Odaily Planet Daily News: The Kobeissi Letter posted on X platform, stating that the US stock market cap-to-GDP ratio has risen to an all-time high of 238%. The total stock market value is currently $75.7 trillion, far exceeding the economic scale of approximately $31.8 trillion.
Since the S&P 500 bottomed on March 30, this ratio has increased by 38 percentage points, and is 90 percentage points higher than the peak level of approximately 148% during the 2000 internet bubble. Since the 2008 financial crisis, the US stock market has grown at five times the rate of the underlying economy.
