U.S. media: Codex has surpassed 4 million weekly active users, with knowledge workers accounting for about one-fifth

Odaily Planet Daily News According to a report from the AXIOS website, based on a new report from OpenAI, knowledge workers currently account for about one-fifth of OpenAI Codex users, and their growth rate is more than three times that of developers. According to the company, Codex currently has over 4 million weekly active users, a figure that has increased more than fivefold since OpenAI launched the desktop application in February. Among knowledge workers, the fastest-growing task type is data analysis, with a week-over-week increase of 110%; research work increased by 37%; and knowledge asset-related tasks grew by 36%. Currently, more than 60% of users are simultaneously engaged in more than one Codex task at some point during the day, a significant increase from less than half in mid-April.
