Sources: OPEC+ to increase production by approximately 188,000 barrels per day in July
Odaily Planet Daily News Three sources stated that OPEC+ oil-producing countries are likely to agree at Sunday's meeting to further raise crude oil production quotas in July. However, the Iran war has so far caused some countries to fail to meet their previous production increase targets. If the production quotas are raised again, it would indicate that the organization is gradually returning to normal operations, despite numerous disruptions such as the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz and the unexpected withdrawal of the UAE in May. According to sources, OPEC+ is expected to increase production by approximately 188,000 barrels per day in July, the same increase as agreed upon for June, after the increase was revised down from 206,000 barrels per day due to the UAE's withdrawal.
