Domestic oil prices may see the 8th increase this year

According to China Business News, institutions predict that due to international crude oil prices first falling and then rising within this price adjustment cycle, refined oil prices will usher in the 8th increase this year. According to calculations by Jinlianchuang, as of May 20th, the average price of reference crude oil varieties was $105.09 per barrel, and it is expected that domestic gasoline and diesel retail prices will be raised by 110 yuan per ton. Taking No. 92 gasoline as an example, the increase per liter is about 0.08 yuan. "There is still one working day before the price adjustment window opens. This increase in refined oil retail price limits is highly likely, and the final magnitude may exceed 100 yuan per ton." Wang Luqing, an analyst at Zhuochuang Information, said that it is expected that the per-liter increase for No. 92 gasoline and No. 0 diesel will be around 0.09 yuan, and filling a 50-liter tank of No. 92 gasoline is expected to cost about 4.5 yuan more. Liu Bingjuan, an analyst at Longzhong Information, also predicted that on May 21st at 24:00, domestic refined oil prices will increase by about 90 yuan per ton.
