During his attendance at the BRICS Foreign Ministers' Meeting, he said that Iran is trying to maintain the current ceasefire to create space for diplomatic efforts. According to multiple media reports, Araghchi emphasized Iran's long-standing lack of trust in the US and stated that any communication under the current situation depends on whether the US demonstrates a "serious and credible stance."
