Bank of Canada: Stablecoin regulatory framework expected to be introduced in mid-to-late 2027

Odaily reported that Carolyn Rogers, Senior Deputy Governor of the Bank of Canada, testified before the Canadian Senate that a regulatory framework for stablecoins within Canada is currently being designed. While the original plan was to launch it in early 2027, the current expected release time for the regulations is mid-to-late 2027.
