Iran: Hormuz will not return to pre-war state

Odaily Planet Daily News: During an interview along the coast of the Strait of Hormuz, Ali Nikzad, Deputy Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran, emphasized that "the Strait of Hormuz will not return to its pre-war state, and Iran will absolutely not take a step back from the Strait of Hormuz." Nikzad stated that the parliament will approve a "Strait of Hormuz Management Law," which includes: a permanent ban on Israeli vessels passing through this critical waterway; vessels from "hostile countries" must pay "war reparations" to obtain passage permits; and other vessels must obtain Iranian authorization to pass.
