CZ responds to safety concerns about Binance address holding over 200,000 BTC: Addresses starting with “3” are likely multi-signature

Odaily Planet Daily reported that a certain crypto KOL posted on platform X, stating that the address ranked first on the Bitcoin rich list, which is related to Binance, is a wallet address starting with "3" and holds over 200,000 BTC. They questioned the security of Binance keeping such a large amount of Bitcoin concentrated in a single address, expressing concerns about the risk of private key collision attacks. In response, CZ said: “Addresses starting with '3' should be multi-signature, right? To crack more than 3 private keys? Trust the math.”

Analysis suggests that the address most likely uses a multi-signature mechanism. Even if a private key collision is theoretically possible, the actual difficulty of cracking it is extremely high.
