Iranian senior official reveals latest details of Iran-US negotiations: No negotiations can take place without the Supreme Leader's permission.

Odaily Planet Daily News, local time on May 3rd, Mojtaba Zarei, a member of the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, revealed new details of the Islamabad talks on social media. Zarei stated that the basis of the Islamabad negotiations was obtaining permission from Iran's Supreme Leader. In addition to obtaining permission to negotiate, the content of the negotiations must also fall within the framework of the Supreme Leader's permission: When the US side wanted to discuss nuclear technology issues, they were informed that the Supreme Leader had prohibited the delegation from discussing technical details on this matter; from now on, decisions in this regard will be made entirely by the Supreme Leader.
