Gold rises to $4,565, volatility declines, crude oil retreats
According to the latest data from Gate, the price of gold has risen to $4,565.28 per ounce, with a daily increase of 0.47%. The price of silver has risen to $72.165 per ounce, with a daily increase of 1.24%.
The BVIX (BTC Volatility Index) is currently quoted at 41.40, with a daily decrease of 1.43%. The EVIX (ETH Volatility Index) is currently quoted at 59.04, with a daily increase of 0.92%.
In the foreign exchange market, the USD/CNH exchange rate fell 0.05% during the day to 6.84272. The USD/JPY exchange rate fell 0.18% during the day to 160.142.
Regarding global stock indices, the Euro Stoxx 50 index (EUSTX50) fell 0.75% during the day to 5,789.75 points; the UK FTSE 100 index (UK100) rose 0.14% during the day to 10,210.64 points; and the German DAX 40 index (GER40) rose 0.24% during the day to 23,894.85 points.
In commodities, WTI crude oil fell 1.29% during the day to $109.39 per barrel. Brent crude oil fell 0.78% during the day to $116.85 per barrel.
