Aave pauses rsETH reserve operations on Ethereum, Arbitrum, and other networks to prevent liquidation risk from escalating

Odaily Planet Daily News Aave released the latest update on the rsETH security incident on the X platform, stating that it has paused rsETH reserve-related operations on the Ethereum mainnet and networks such as Arbitrum, Base, Mantle, and Linea to prevent excess aETHrsETH from being withdrawn, thereby pushing positions close to the 95% liquidation threshold. This measure aims to preserve as much capital as possible and reduce systemic risk during the asset recovery process. Aave stated that subsequent progress and resolution plans will continue to be disclosed to the community.
