Japanese and South Korean stock markets rebounded sharply compared to yesterday. The South Korean KOSPI index closed up 6.84% at 5,288.08 points. Among them, chipmakers Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix were the biggest contributors. Samsung's stock price surged by up to 10% during the session, marking its largest single-day gain since March 2020.
