Odaily Planet Daily News: As oil prices fell by more than 3% and the market reassessed the outlook for US interest rates, US Treasury yields and the US dollar declined. According to the CME FedWatch Tool, the probability of one rate hike this year remains high at 42%, while the probability of a second rate hike dropped from 34% a week ago to 28%, as inflation expectations cooled. A survey by The Wall Street Journal expects the University of Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index, scheduled for release at 10:00 AM ET (10:00 PM Beijing time), to rise from 44.8 to 49. (Jin Shi)
