Canadian listed company BTCT completes $92 million in financing and buys 292.8 bitcoins

Odaily News Bitcoin Treasury Corporation (BTCT), a Canadian-listed company, will officially resume trading on the TSX Venture Exchange, the TSX’s public venture capital market for emerging companies.
The company announced Thursday that its common shares will be freely traded on the exchange under the ticker symbol BTCT starting June 30, with more than 10 million shares now issued and outstanding. Previously, the company had sold more than 10 million shares of BTCT. The resumption of trading follows a brokered offering that raised a total of 125 million Canadian dollars (about 92 million U.S. dollars).
Part of the financing proceeds were also used to purchase Bitcoin. According to the company, it purchased 292.80 BTC, with a total cost of approximately US$31.5 million. (Cointelegraph)
