DeSci Hong Kong 2026
On February 10, 2026, DeSci Hong Kong 2026, co-hosted by HK Tech 300 and the Institute of Digital Medicine (IDM) of City University of Hong Kong, and jointly organized by DeSci Sino, CancerDAO, CUPA, and Web3AI, will be grandly launched in Admiralty as an official Side Event of Consensus HK 2026. Building upon last year's focus on decentralized science (DeSci), this half-day thematic event will further expand its vision to explore how Web3 infrastructure and AI technology can jointly reshape the landscape of cutting-edge innovation.
The event will delve into how Hong Kong can leverage these two key technologies to build a regional innovation hub connecting research, industry, and investment ecosystems. The agenda is divided into two in-depth thematic sections: (i) Web3 × Biotechnology: Focusing on decentralized research infrastructure, digital healthcare, and biopharmaceutical innovation, discussing new narratives for biological longevity. (ii) Embodied Intelligence: Focusing on the integration of AI, robotics, and real-world intelligent systems, exploring the path towards virtual immortality.
This summit brings together leading figures from top academic institutions and the frontier industrial sector. Academic guests include: City University of Hong Kong Senior Vice-President Prof. Yang Mengsu Michael; City University of Hong Kong Chief AI Scientist and Director of HKAI-Sci, Prof. Ma Wei-Ying; and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Crypto-Fintech Lab Director, Prof. Chen Kani. Additionally, City University of Hong Kong's Prof. Yan Jun (Chief Scientist of Yidu Tech), Prof. Liu Xiaofan, Prof. Wang Yu, Prof. Wu Chenyuan, Prof. Yang Harry, and other senior scholars will also attend the discussions.
Beyond academic luminaries, this summit has also invited pioneering forces from the Web3, biotechnology, and robotics fields to participate, sharing the most valuable development opportunities within the ecosystem and showcasing the infinite possibilities of crypto and AI technologies in non-financial domains.
