The CityUHK Web 3 AI Club (hereafter referred to as the Club), supported by the City University of Hong Kong Postgraduate Students Association (CUPA), is dedicated to fostering a vibrant atmosphere of Web 3 and AI research and innovation on campus. By connecting senior alumni, engaging with university professors, and engaging with industry experts, the Club aims to build a solid bridge between industry, academia, and research for students passionate about cutting-edge technology, fostering knowledge sharing, the exchange of ideas, and the implementation of practical projects.
On October 8th, the Club will host its inaugural meetup, themed "CityUHK Web 3 AI Club Meetup - Let's Kick-off!", held on the campus of City University of Hong Kong. This meetup will feature keynote speeches, roundtable discussions, and industry exchanges, aiming to achieve its goals through a multi-faceted design: First, building community cohesion, the club will introduce the core team structure and future development plans. Secondly, the meetup will focus on knowledge sharing, inviting faculty advisors and industry veterans to share in-depth insights on innovative trends and industry practices in the Web 3 field, providing students with a deeper understanding of cutting-edge knowledge. This process will also build connections and foster diverse interactions between students, faculty, industry experts, and university partners, creating opportunities for future study, career development, and collaborative projects, while also promoting the continued influx of blockchain industry trends, cutting-edge technologies, and high-quality resources onto campus.
Participants in this conference include Club leaders, and the target audience is community members and students, faculty, and alumni from all academic levels at City University of Hong Kong, as well as students and alumni from partner universities in Hong Kong.
