The 2025 Shanghai Blockchain International Week will be held again in October, witnessing the development of the blockchain industry in China and even the world. The event has never been absent for eleven consecutive years. This International Week is composed of the Second Ethereum Developer Conference and the Second Blockchain Global Summit, with the theme of "Blockchain New Economy Horizon" , calling on the industry to go all out and keep moving forward.
In 2017, the third Blockchain Global Summit, at a time when the industry is hesitating, aims to work together with the most determined attitude and belief to promote the arrival of the dawn .
In 2018, the blockchain industry achieved rapid development, but also encountered bubbles and chaos. Wanxiang Blockchain Lab held the Shanghai Blockchain International Week, including hackathon, Demo Day and the 4th Blockchain Global Summit. The summit focused on "technical exploration" , returning to the basics and not forgetting the original intention.
2019 is the starting point of a new decade for the blockchain industry. At this critical juncture in history, this International Week is themed "New Decade, New Starting Point" , aiming to gather global forces and start the next decade together.
In 2020, the focus of the blockchain industry is shifting from technology research to application implementation. Therefore, this International Week is themed "Integration and Innovation" , exploring the integration and innovation of blockchain technology with new-generation information technologies such as the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence, and creating complete solutions for different application scenarios.
In 2021, as blockchain, cloud computing, the Internet of Things, 5G and other technologies are increasingly integrated into all areas of economic and social development, the digital economy is also developing rapidly. "Digital transformation" is the only way to the digital economy world. In this process, how blockchain can play its own value and make "data" a real new driving force for business and economic development is the core topic of this summit.
In 2022, the theme of the 8th Blockchain Global Summit is "Together Chaining the Future" .
