This year, leading Web3 technology company and virtual asset exchange OKX became diamond sponsors of Hong Kong Fintech Week 2023. During the main forum on November 2-3, several OKX executives participated in various panel discussions and fireside chats.
At the Hong Kong Stage on November 2, OKX Global Chief Commercial Officer Lennix Lai gave a speech on Consolidating Hong Kongs strategic position in the global financial technology field, especially talking about digital infrastructure and strengthening the construction of financial technology professional talents.

On November 3, Lennix discussed How Hong Kong can become the leading global center for regulated virtual asset businesses with former Chiu Consulting CEO Clara Chiu, and then participated in a panel on Starting from the Leader: Deconstructing Web3 with Top Innovators Potential panel discussion with Bloomberg TV reporter Annabelle Droulers and key Web3 industry leaders, including Scroll co-founder Sandy Peng, Ledger Chairman and CEO Pascal Gauthier, Animoca Group President Evan Auyang, and Animoca Capital Management Partner Homer Sun.
In the panel discussion AI, Web3 and the New Frontier Stage, OKX Ventures Partner Jeff Ren and Moodys Investors Service Managing Director and Global Head of Decentralized Finance and Virtual Assets Fabian Astic, Easy Crypto CEO Janine Grainger and CoinTelegraph Reporter Tom Mitchelhill talked about the future related to decentralized finance and centralized finance, and discussed in depth the innovative landscape of decentralized finance, the opportunities and challenges it brings, and its impact on the financial industry and other fields.
