Sustained success can only be achieved by adhering to a systematic investment approach
After the article was published on June 18, I was deeply impressed by the comments of many readers. Yesterday I shared with you one of the readers’ comments about not being afraid of ups and downs. Today I will share with you another article about fixed investment. message.
This reader's message reads:
"The CRV that builds positions in batches below $3 is seriously undervalued. Your cost of building a position a year ago was less than $2, so now CRV at around $2 is like cabbage. If the bull market breaks out in the second half, CRV's The increase is definitely much larger than Bitcoin Ethereum.”
Regarding CRV, I have always been very optimistic. In my articles last year and earlier this year, I repeatedly mentioned that any price under $2 can be cast. But this year when the price of CRV exceeded 2 dollars, I didn't mention the scheduled investment anymore. Although from time to time, readers still ask whether they can vote regularly, but I try to avoid replying directly, because I prefer to leave this question to our readers to think for themselves.
When 519 plummeted, CRV fell to less than 2 dollars again, and I clearly reminded in the article that I can make a regular investment again.
As this reader pointed out, my holding costs were all within $2 a year ago, and the corresponding UNI price at that time was still within $5 as far as I remember. Today, even after the 519 plunge, the price of UNI has reached $20, which is already four times the fixed investment price of that year. And now, as of this writing, the price of CRV is only $1.85.
Many readers do not understand this and will guess what the reason is. It seems to me that some of the reasons are temporary and we don't need to pay attention at all, while others are permanent and we must pay attention to them. And the eternal and most critical: What is the fundamentals of CRV? It's still not as strong as it used to be.
To see its fundamentals, we might as well make a horizontal comparison first. Let’s compare it with Uniswap, which is also an exchange.
Users who often pay attention to the DeFi ecology will find that since the birth of Uniswap, there have been endless imitations of it in the DeFi ecology. At first it was sushi, later it was pancake in BSC, and then there were more imitation dishes, and there are countless.
And the relationship between these imitation disks and Uniswap is almost a life-and-death competitor relationship. Every time Uniswap is updated, I feel that it is trying to get rid of competitors as much as possible, and even sacrificed copyright in the V3 version. Colleagues copy their own code.
From this, we can see how fierce the competition is on the Uniswap track. Although Uniswap seems to be taking the lead now, the possibility of new entrants catching up in the future cannot be completely ruled out.
Then let's look at CRV. Since its birth, it has focused on transactions between stablecoins, transactions between similar digital currencies (such as different types of BTC, different types of ETH, etc.) and large transactions. And on this track, we hardly see competitors, and CRV has always been the dominant player. CRV is not only the best choice for stablecoin traders, but also the best choice for hackers to cash out stablecoins.
Later, Ellipsis, an imitation disk of CRV, appeared in Binance BSC. But what is interesting is that this imitation disk has expressed strong respect for CRV and has also formed a good cooperative relationship with CRV, and CRV has also sponsored this project. This kind of operation gives me the feeling that this imitation disk is not like a competitor of CRV, but more like a branch of CRV in BSC. Such a result not only did not weaken CRV's status in the arena, but made CRV more stable.
And even if the imitation disk is slightly famous so far, this is the only one.
From this perspective, we can even think that at least so far, CRV has no competitors at all.
For such a project, its ranking is only 93rd. Will this embarrassing situation last for a long time?
So as this reader wrote, "CRVs around $2 are like cabbage prices now." As for whether "if the bull market breaks out in the second half, CRV's rise will definitely be much larger than that of Bitcoin and Ethereum" is definitely true, we leave it to the market and time to draw conclusions, but I believe that if the bull market breaks out in the second half, CRV's ranking is unlikely Still in this embarrassing position today.
There is a big difference between my articles and many self-media articles: I generally seldom recommend projects directly in articles (except Bitcoin and Ethereum). Every time I mention a certain project, my purpose is not to recommend you to buy it, let alone recommend you to buy it at the time when you read my article, but I think this project is very typical. Everyone shares how I think, how I judge, and what my perspective is.
I believe that only by mastering the systematic investment method can we choose good varieties habitually and with a high probability, instead of relying on luck, listening, or hearing to choose good varieties.
