Investment Advice from Overseas Senior Players (2)
In yesterday's article, we shared the first piece of advice from senior players in the overseas currency circle, which is "don't think you are late". As long as you persevere and take root in the industry, every investor will not be too late.
In addition, it is not to look at blockchain and cryptocurrency, a trend industry with great potential, in the short term.
The following content is also my compilation of the author's original text:
Digital currencies are a decades-long industry, and we see this as a "paradigm shift." Such a big shift can never be completed overnight, nor can it be completed in the next month or next year. The changes in the industry are gradual and continuous. Every day and every block is witnessing history and witnessing this great change. In a bull market, the industry is advancing triumphantly; in a bear market, the industry is also forging ahead, and its transformation is not hindered by any price factors.
In this process, as investors, the most important thing for us is to look at this change with a long-term timeline. Our vision is not the present, not tomorrow, but next year, ten years or even longer.
As long as we establish such a perspective, we can take a calm view of short-term fluctuations, avoid market noise, and stay away from the trap I will talk about below.
This trap is to place too much emphasis on speculation in small currencies.
Many novice investors hope to "get rich overnight" or catch up with the senior players around them in a very short period of time. If their time to enter the market coincides with a bull market, they are very inclined to take heavy positions in small currencies.
The overall market sentiment in the bull market is risk-oriented, which means that investors in the market tend to be bold and aggressive without fear of risks. The flow of funds in the venue is often focused on Bitcoin and Ethereum first, and then slowly spills over to small currencies.
This situation is easy to understand-the market value of Bitcoin is already 1 trillion US dollars, and it will increase by 100 times? Think wishful thinking is impossible! As a result, investors who felt that they entered the market "late" began to rack their brains to find the so-called "ten times and hundred times projects" that had not yet been discovered. If you missed Bitcoin and Ethereum, you may be able to make up for this opportunity from a certain "small currency"!
But the reality is that the risk of small currencies is very high. The "treasure" that investors have worked so hard to find may indeed be a "treasure" that other investors have not discovered, but sorry, it cannot be Bitcoin, because it has not experienced 12 years of trials and setbacks; It can't be Ethereum, because it doesn't have a thriving ecosystem.
It is very unlikely that it is a value currency, and it is even less likely that it will rise 100 times.
This is gambling: good luck, it goes up 100 times, just treat it as luck. But we can't gamble and lose everything we're worth.
In a bull market, the small currencies we invest in may still shine occasionally; but in a bear market, the small currencies we invest in will allow us to swallow the bitter fruit after the tide recedes.
Although I often mention long-term investment in my articles, look at the digital currency industry with a long-term perspective, and also mention buying value coins, don’t be too obsessed with hundred-fold coins and thousand-fold coins, but after reading the author’s above passage, my opinion There was still a strong shock in my heart, because the author wrote in more detail and vividly.
It seems that the truth is common, and the value of investment is universal.
I hope that every investor who reads this article can listen to the author's heartfelt words, abandon unrealistic ideas and irrational operations, and become a long-term value-focused investor.
