Sigma Prime is an Australian-based company that focuses on blockchain technology, and its business involves information security analysis of smart contracts, blockchain protocols, and blockchain implementations. For the past 2-3 years, Sigma Prime has been developing an Ethereum 2.0 implementation - the Lighthouse client - in Rust. Lighthouse is now in production, running on the Eth2 beacon chain, and has been widely accepted by users. Since the beginning of Ethereum 2.0, the Sigma Prime team has been involved in specification writing and implementation, and has played an important role in optimizing the specification, clarifying the network protocol, and providing security analysis (through fuzz testing) to all major Eth2 teams and specifications.
