Data Availability Sampling Prototype
The developer Protolambda tweeted to update some research and development progress of Ethereum 2.0. He said that the current R&D is mainly focused on two aspects:
a) Preparation for Phase 1: building blocks and prototyping. Proto is developing a data availability sampling prototype. Some specifications have been perfected, but need to be verified by simulation. In particular, moving all shard data into small blocks, validating them, and allowing anyone to sample them is complex. At the same time, if the blocks built by the core get a working prototype, our work will be one step closer. Translating Kate commitments/proofs/verification, FFT-based extensions, and data recovery from Python (by Dankrad, Vitalik, etc.) to Go is now more than halfway done.

zkSync Now Supports Four Ethereum Wallets
zkSync now supports securely sending funds to any Ethereum address, and the supported wallets include: Metamask, BurnerWallet, WalletConnect, and External. The reasons why some Ethereum addresses cannot use zkSyncde directly may be as follows:
The web interface does not yet support this wallet
The address belongs to the exchange
The smart contract to which the address belongs is not supported by EIP-1271

New EIP process
The Ethereum Cat Herders community has released a new EIP process, with changes aimed at separating the perfection of the EIP itself from the hard fork coordination process. Because the EIP warehouse was originally designed to be a technical specification warehouse, and the hard fork coordination process also introduced political opinions into the EIP warehouse, this time the new process is to separate the two. In terms of specific process design, delete ACCEPTED and become:

Hudson Jameson to Step Down as Community Manager at Ethereum Foundation
Hudson Jameson tweeted on December 22 that after the hard fork in Berlin, he would step down as the facilitator of the Ethereum core developer meeting for four years, and the position would be taken over by Tim Beiko, the developer of Ethereum. Huson said that the main reason for his resignation was that he wanted to try new things, and that the Foundation also needed new blood. And Tim will also step down as the Hyperledger Besu product manager of the ConsenSysQuorum team, and is currently looking for a successor.
