The most dramatic is that so far, there have been five apparently large20075confiscated event. It's worth mentioning that being forfeited may not be as severe as it sounds. The current fine that is imposed immediately is only 0.25 ETH out of 32 ETH, and there may be other penalties beyond that. The main pain point is that your ETH is now locked in the beacon chain and unusable until some sort of exit mechanism is built.because it was proposedReportcontradictory block

The reason for the confiscation of services is to make contradictory proofs. according toAnkr's report, the incident was caused by a failure of their (home-brew) slash protection infrastructure, and validators were allowed to wrap around votes (one of the prohibited validator behaviors) after a reboot. The client has built-in precautions around voting, so it's not clear exactly what went wrong. The third confiscatedValidator 18177POAP”。

You may be trying to configure redundancy. This is wrong thinking! Short-term offline (one or two days) will not have much impact on the verifier's long-term total rewards, which is preferable to being fined. In the words of Vitalik: "Don't try so hard"! Eth2 roadmapexecutable beacon chain, a new progress bar has been added.
The main changes highlighted in it are the Eth1/Eth2 merger process we noticed before, and we will now parallelize the work of sharding and requesting clients. The main possible scenarios for merging areexecutable beacon chain, currently in prototype development by Mikhail Kalinin.
Vitalik also suggested someProtocol adjustments, likely to be implemented in the short to medium term. For clients, one of the challenges is how to handle timely epoch transitions: the first few blocks of epochs are often orphaned in the Pyrmont testnet, and the proofs at the beginning of the epoch are often incorrect. This issue has not yet impacted the beacon chain, but the sooner this issue is resolved the better, which is one of the goals of the proposal. For the shorter term, an alternative form of withdrawal mechanism is also being discussed. The current mechanism is that once you stake, you need to keep the BLS private key for future withdrawals from the beacon chain, but the specific withdrawal mechanism has not yet been designed. This is less of an issue for individual staking, but not for trustless staking pools as they need a smart contract to manage withdrawals. Since the merger of Eth1 and Eth2 may come earlier, it is still necessary to plan for this mechanism, at least to achieve a certain degree of certainty in the way of implementation. In the last issue we reviewed some of the proposals。

. The content in this PR is technically not difficult, and does not even require a fork of the beacon chain. Agreeing on a clear commitment is a good thing.
