Since my first contact“RaidGuild”It's been six months since I heard the word from a bunch of really cool Cartel guys in the 5th floor lounge of ETHdenver Sports Castle 🏰.

I andVitalik Buterin,Lou Kerner, quiltJames WaughAttracted by enthusiasm and vitality. 🗣
I’ve since heard that term repeated over and over from everyone in and out of the circle, and everyone in between. In the end, for better or for worse,Peter ‘pet3rpan’would be responsible for my joining, and when I asked him if there were paid opportunities within MetaCartel, he suggested that I try to join the guild "The Guild" - as they affectionately call themselves.
At first, I didn't think I would fit into such an elite Web3 team, I'm neither a developer nor a researcher, more of a generalist than a specialist. In my imagination, RaidGuild is a team of Web flow ninjas, cryptographic cypherpunks and quantum contract developers competing with teams like Citizen 4. I couldn't help but think, "What can I bring to this team?"
My guess was both right and wrong. The guild is full of high-ranking wizards 🧙🏼♂️ crafting smart contracts for fun and profit. But beyond their technology, they are a group concerned with development, access to resources and creation of equal opportunity, and they bring these concerns into every project they implement. It's not an "agency" in any traditional sense, but a true collective, focused on collaboration rather than competition.
define your role
In RaidGuild, you need to define and assign your own roles. You can take on many roles such as: Preacher (Account Manager), Warrior (Frontend Development), Archer (Designer), Angry Dwarf (Finance Department), Rogue (Legal Council). We even created some great character figures to help us visualize these characters in a more 3D environment:

It's a true "choose your own adventure" game that some love and some hate. when you enter ourDiscordWhen playing a server, you'll quickly find out which type you are, and you'll indulge or swim in it 🤷🏽♂️.
andBurrrataandMano lingamet al to help clarify and demonstrate the necessary gear, and created high-value opportunities for new members of the guild totaling 25 +/-.
a personal journey
Since joining the ethereum space in early 2017, I have been "trying to find my own path", from org to dOrg, from Dapp to DAO. At times, the process has been frustrating, confusing, and hopeless, while other times it has been inspiring, shocking, and inspiring. Today, I have more incredible experiences than bad ones, mainly due to my cooperation and complicity with other guild members who are not just my colleagues, they are my friends, advisors , employers and allies. At any point, the relationship dynamic can shift from giving to taking, and I've found that members of the guild are always willing to offer feedback and advice on anything you give them.
The guild has a strong sense of team, the positioning among members is clear, and the way forward is well developed. Some people are less optimistic about RaidGuild because it's slow to capitalize, but I don't think that's a problem:

The reason is that our focus is on making sure our members are aligned with the community, that our behavior is aligned with our values, and that our resources come from projects that we really care about. So instead of simply picking up every project that comes our way, we only work on projects we really believe in, and we know members who care about issues of open source, sustainability, and equal opportunity. We develop our key partnerships and build bridges between communities by partnering with some orgs such asLexDAO, Aragon, Gitcoin, Tellor, SaveDAIwait. I've found that my personal strength is being the link between people and projects, or rather my personal pain that you have to believe in "Community$GLUE”
I love bringing people together and seeing them work on something they care about, and multiplying the efforts of a few people beyond the confines of their original context to create limitless possibilities.
I hope I can keep doing this remarkable work.
Make this work a more sustainable and recognized career path.
The Ethereum community as a whole is in a stronger position to reward community organizations for their important work (aka: business development).
Building bridges is not limited to between DeFi Dapps and DAOs already familiar with the Ethereum chain.
We will continue to go beyond what we think is possible.
I will continue to welcome people from all backgrounds into this field, and those who seek more in life can join us, and everyone who seeks can find their own path toward greater equity, generosity, and expansiveness s future.
Sincerely, Yalor
