MetaCartel is a global community focused on remote collaboration
We believe that the best teams and builders can be found anywhere in the world, so virtual hackathons are the perfect way to invite people from anywhere in the world to team up, collaborate, learn together, and build things together.
There is a common misconception around the world: "Hacker" refers specifically to writing code or developing software. This is absolutely a fallacy! To prove it, we decided to call all hackers around the world to join us on our quest! Whether you're a designer, a marketer, an illustrator or someone with any kind of skill, we need you! The hackathon bounty program includes non-technical hackers, so eat that bag of latiao that will make you creative and join this creative, rewarding, world-changing journey!
We're not just looking for hackers, we're also looking for artists, writers, philosophers, bloggers, gamers, designers, game designers, and more. If you have an idea and would like to collaborate with a group of inspired fellows, we look forward to having you on board.
At the heart of this hackathon is the delivery of a special experience through a fully virtual collective of judges, sponsors, and global hackers. MetaCartel is driving the adoption of Web3 and supporting a community of builders helping the Ethereum ecosystem to be an amazing place to work. We believe virtual events are more inclusive, more sustainable, and create an easier way for participants to participate, so the MetaCartel Ecosystem is proud to sponsor this event.
Oh! There are also awards, we have set up many awards!
Say, for example, an idea bounty offered by a sponsor: "Create the most novel XYZ, potentially utilizing the ABC project." All Grand Champions (1st-5th) will receive a loot chosen by the Grandmasters. Among them, the selection factors include user experience, uniqueness/creativity, influence/usefulness, user verification, product or market fit and so on. We are currently reviewing a large number of bounties from our sponsors, and we are accepting more bounties here as well.
The goal of Dragon Quest Hackathon is to tear down the shackles of the traditional hackathon framework, encourage maximum cooperation, and maximize the chemical reaction between everyone's ideas. And more importantly, get the most out of it.
We look forward to seeing your unique skills, not just ninja developers, we look forward to seeing karate writers, origami artists, or flower arrangement community organizers. Building a robust system that is elegant and balanced in form and function requires a variety of approaches. We love builders and useful tools, but people always come first, so, community is MetaCartel's five-point palm of mind.
