Ethereum
Bitcoins are initially held by a few people and, over time, are distributed to millions of different addresses.
The ratio of the currency holdings of bitcoin giant whale addresses (holding at least one-thousandth of the total supply) to the total supply reached a historical peak of 33% in February 2011. As of February this year, this The figure has dropped to 11%. On the contrary, since 2011, the proportion of coins held by small addresses with a balance of 1/10,000,000th of the total BTC supply or less has been steadily increasing.

In August 2017, when BTC forked, about 14% of BCH supply was held by large addresses (at least 1/1K of total supply), and as of February 2020, large addresses held about 29% of BCH .
