Ethereum: A Money Game View

Ethereum: A Money Game View
David Hoffman's first Ethereum milk article entering 2020. Still like the "Ethereum is money" that he kept instilling in everyone in 2019, he will continue to instill this concept in this article, and he will not die until the Yellow River, and milk Ethereum until the end of time. But he talked about it from the perspective of playing games, which is an interesting direction to enter. Ethereum is a game that humans are playing. Humans use Ethereum to build a fully-participating digital world game.
A common belief is the herald of digital value.
– Bitcoin: the first digital game
Bitcoin is the universe's first digital value. All previous value forms are similar, real, tangible forms of value. However, this is just a digital form of value for a game: the Bitcoin game.
Bitcoin = an accumulated numbers game. Bitcoin is the simplest version of the numbers game. Bitcoin says to the world: "There are these digitally scarce things! Go find them!" (refer to the plot of Japanese animation One Piece). The Bitcoin game started out as a proof of concept, and it turned out that many players wanted to play the Bitcoin game. What if we're sick of "Found Bitcoin!" Are there more fun and complex games out there?
– Developing Ethereum: the prospect of unlimited games
Ethereum is known to be Turing complete, which means that any game imaginable can be built. This maps to the real world: every decision you make is a small game in the larger game of life. The combination of the molecular composition of matter and the laws of physics makes the universe itself "totemically complete". The universe is the playing field for all possible games.
This is why Ethereum is so important. It's the digital world of the numbers game. All possible collections of all digital games can be built on Ethereum. Ethereum is our game world, and Ether is our game score.
In this new digital economic system: Ethereum is the government; Ethereum is money; transaction fees are taxes.
Ethereum rules are enforced by the EVM. The EVM decides whether operations performed on Ethereum are valid or invalid. In the physical world, EVM is equal to the laws of physics, and anything that happens must be approved by EVM.
Value capture is an inherent part of life. The meaning of life is tied to the value you gain and gain in life. Evolution selects for organisms that realize value. However, in the real world, value is perceived and subjective. We all achieve achievement in different ways.
Ethereum has its own value capture mechanism. It is the "house" of the casino and has an unfair advantage over all other apps; issuing ether to stakeholders. The issuance of Ether makes it harder for applications to compete with ETH, in a similar way that higher interest rates from central banks make it harder to access funds.

Binance Defi Report Issue 3: 2020, DeFi's Borderless State
Will innovation and growth within DeFi continue to expand beyond the crypto industry? This is a Defi report jointly conducted by Binance Research and the Dapp.review team, and it is also the third issue of the Binance Defi report. Here are some key points:
Since 2019, DeFi has become one of Ethereum's key growth areas. Other competing public chains are also building DeFi products, but at a much slower pace than Ethereum.
The user end of Ethereum-based DeFi is still small, averaging over 40,000 monthly users, 90% of which are using decentralized exchanges.
At the same time, the number of active projects (i.e., 50+ users per day) nearly doubled in 2019, while more and more developers are developing new products and building new services.
From the beginning, the DeFi space has been dominated by SAI/DAI, the decentralized stablecoin minted in the MakerDAO ecosystem, and released its MCD (Multi-Collateral Dai) in November 2019. Since then, the migration between SAI and DAI has occurred at a rapid rate, with an estimated 64% of the supply converted (as of December 31st).
Incorporating USDC into multiple DeFi platforms presents challenges for DAI due to USDC's richer supply, different interest rate dynamics, and greater stability of the pegged price.
Lending platforms like Compound are increasingly challenging Maker’s dominance, as measured by the total value of collateral locked in DeFi.
In 2020, we expect new developments in Ethereum-based DeFi (e.g. derivatives, undercollateralized initiatives, ERC-20 USDT incorporation), to become a fundamental part of DeFi, and for reasons such as this, more DeFi Projects will be boosted by more outstanding cross-chain interoperability solutions.

StakerDAO — a new DAO based on the Tezos blockchain
This is based on the DAO on Tezos, and there is a StakeDAO on Ethereum, so I misread it at first. This is StakerDAO, although it is a DAO, and Tezos itself is famous for its governance, so it is not too surprising. However, this StakerDAO has also received good attention in Defi. This article mainly talks about what StakerDAO is. You can roughly understand that it is a Tezos-based platform similar to MakerDAO, but not limited to stable currency management. Instead, it tries to learn from MakerDAO's management model and put all the Lego packages of Ethereum Defi on one platform.
StakerDAO, is a platform for managing financial assets in a decentralized, secure and compliant manner based on the Tezos blockchain.
From a design perspective, we took the Tezos Agora process, reconfigured it and renamed Staker Agora for our specific use case. STKR token holders are responsible for electing the council and working with the operations team to submit monthly Staker proposals. Proposal examples could include, for example, tokens launching synthetic tokens, index funds, or stable coins. As these projects generate revenue, profits eventually flow back to STKR token holders.
The upcoming StakerDAO will combine the worlds of DeFi and decentralized governance. Where Tezos has shown its strength in offering a top-notch governance structure, with high levels of participation, and an economic model inspired by MakerDAO, StakerDAO will embody the future of decentralized financial governance.

2020 at DAOstack
necDAO
As one of the DAO-themed projects that can be speculated, DAOstack's 2020 plan is actually worthy of attention. The value of this article lies in what DAOstack has in 2020. It is also foreseeable that DAOstack will do a lot to promote the concept of DAO in 2020.
necDAO is the latest DAO offering in the trend of community-funded and application-governed DAOs, which includes Genesis, dxDAO, and PolkaDAO. The Ethfinex decentralized exchange is now DeversiFi, and necDAO is its "decentralized nerve center" that "enables the community to democratically drive the growth of the Nectar ecosystem, while providing a new way for people to market and reward their talents" .
DAOstack will power ETHDenver
DAOstack will have a big presence at ETHDenver 2020, in the hacks and talks portion of the event, as well as running the largest DAOfest ever. Our team will be taking a prominent position at ETHDenver, giving talks and offering support and bounties for hackers. Team members will demonstrate collaborative networking, dHack, software stacks, and more
