Jeffrey Wilcke, a member of the founding team of Ethereum, cashed out 92,000 ETH. At that time, the price of ETH currency fell by about 0.7%.
According to TRUSTNODE reports, Jeffrey Wilcke, a founding team member of Ethereum, transferred 92,000 ETH to Kraken, an American digital currency exchange, on Christmas Day, December 25. And Jeffrey himself later admitted to the cash-out behavior.
Willy Woo, a data analyst on the Bitcoin chain, once tweeted on December 20 to discuss the distribution of tokens for digital currency start-up companies. Excluded, even honest founders have an incentive to do so. However, the practice of exiting early by pre-mining tokens and throwing them into the market is very dirty. The founder of the company should bear more responsibilities, and this part of the risk should be borne by VC (venture capital).
According to the TRUSTNODE blockchain data analysis, the account that transferred 92,000 ETH came from an Ethereum address beginning with "0x600", which transferred 408,000 ETH during January 2016.

The 408,000 ETH was moved to the Ethereum address a7e4fecddc20d83f36971b67e13f1abc98dfcfa6 (Jeffrey’s wallet address) in 2016. Previously, the address had been slowly selling or transferring out ETH, and during this Christmas period, the wallet balance decreased rapidly.
Even so, the wallet still contained 218,000 ETH ($27 million), and the 90,000-plus ETH that was transferred appears to have been transferred to an intermediate address before being sent in full to the Kraken exchange.
This account is funded by the Ethereum Foundation Developer Wallet. Presumably, these funds were part of the initial distribution the founding team received when ethereum was founded.

TRUSTNODE so confirmed that it was Jeffrey Wilcked's address because the original 0x600 address matched the Ethereum Name Service (ENS). According to the query results of the Ethereum browser, the address starting with 0x600 is registered in the name of Jeff Wilcke.
After discovering the large amount of transfer from the whale, the community expressed great concern and hoped for an explanation. At one time, some even thought that the Ethereum Foundation or Vitalik was about to smash the market.
Based on these facts, there is no doubt that the 92,000 ETH belonged to Wilcke. It is guessed that he spent a lot of Christmas this time, because he is now a multi-millionaire.

"Jeffrey Wilcke was the core developer of the Go client (then called 'ethereal') at the time. Compared to protocol research, he contributed more to client development and assisted in writing code [November 2013]."
With the initial allocation of 11 million ETH distributed to the co-founding team, many other early Ethereum developers also chose to leave.
V God himself obtained 600,000 ETH. Considering that Wilcke also has at least 400,000 ETH, the initial distribution of Ethereum seems relatively flat.

So far, ETH has fallen by nearly 91% compared to the highest price of $1,397 in January 2018.
