Odaily reports that Evan Cheng posted on X that Mysten Labs will officially establish an AI business unit focused on developing agent trust products and native AI infrastructure. Mysten Labs President Kevin Boon will take over as CEO, while Evan Cheng transitions to Chief Technology Officer and will lead the AI business unit. Mysten Labs plans to build related products based on Sui and Walrus to help individuals and enterprises constrain agent behavior and support agents in safely executing tasks without the need for real-time human intervention. Mysten Labs recently announced a partnership with Google Cloud to develop a verifiable agent arbiter, providing an evidence layer for enterprise AI agents.
