Odaily reports that Aptos Labs co-founder and CEO Avery Ching posted on X platform stating that claims that Aptos will shut down its blockchain in the next 6 months are "stupid rumors."

Currently, public governance records show that Aptos still has network upgrade proposals and executed mainnet feature updates, with no official plan found to shut down the mainnet.
