Listed Companies' Weekly Net Buying Increased by 30.4%; Strategy Added 1,665 Bitcoin in a Single Week

According to SoSoValue data, as of 8:00 AM ET on September 28, 2026, the total weekly net buying of Bitcoin by publicly listed companies (excluding mining companies) worldwide last week was $239 million, an increase of 30.4% compared to the previous week.

Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) bought 1,665 Bitcoin last week at a price of $85,681, spending approximately $143 million, bringing its total holdings to 847,666 BTC.

Japanese listed company Metaplanet did not purchase any Bitcoin last week, marking eleven consecutive weeks without buying Bitcoin.

In addition, 3 other companies announced Bitcoin purchases or holdings updates last week. French Bitcoin company Capital B announced on September 28 that it purchased 13 Bitcoin at a price of $85,693.40, bringing its total holdings to 3,538 BTC; asset management company Strive announced on September 28 that it spent approximately $94.53 million last week to purchase 1,107 Bitcoin at a price of $85,396, bringing its total holdings to approximately 27,462 BTC.

As of press time, the publicly listed companies (excluding mining companies) tracked in the statistics collectively hold a total of 1,159,755 Bitcoin, an increase of 0.32% compared to the previous week, with a current market value of approximately $96.74 billion, accounting for 5.7% of Bitcoin's circulating market cap.
