Odaily Planet Daily reported that Benoit Pagotto, co-founder of Nike's NFT project RTFKT, has passed away at the age of 41. Philippe Rodriguez, founding partner of Avolta Partners, wrote that Benoit's death was "very sudden." The company had advised on RTFKT's sale to Nike in December 2021.

RTFKT's other co-founder, Steven Vasilev, later confirmed the news on the X platform.
