Odaily News Agency - Kyrgyzstan's Minister of Internal Affairs, Ulan Niyazbekov, stated that since 2026, the country's internal affairs authorities have launched 90 criminal investigations involving cryptocurrency, covering cases such as online fraud, fund theft, money laundering, and the transfer of criminal funds. Niyazbekov revealed that during a 2025 police investigation into a transnational online fraud gang, they discovered a TRON wallet holding over $3 million in digital assets on a suspect's device, and used blockchain analysis tools to trace the associated funds.
