SK hynix responds again: No decision yet on sale of Chongqing plant equity

Odaily Planet Daily News: SK hynix has again responded to reports that "the company plans to sell a partial stake in its Chongqing packaging plant in China, with the transaction valued at approximately KRW 4 trillion (about USD 2.9 billion)." The company stated that it is currently reviewing several measures to enhance the competitiveness of its packaging business, but as of now, no specific matters have been finalized. This marks the second time SK hynix has disclosed progress on the matter, one month after its initial announcement on August 10. The company said that if related matters are confirmed, it will make a separate announcement; if there is still no specific progress, it will disclose again within three months from the date of this announcement, with the next expected disclosure date set for December 8.
