Hacker Deposits 229.72 ETH from Coldcard Attack Involving ~30 BTC into Duel.com Casino, Worth $445,000

Odaily News According to Galaxy's Head of Research monitoring, a victim's Coldcard wallet was hacked, involving nearly 30 BTC, of which 17 BTC were swapped for ETH via THORChain before being deposited into Duel.com casino. The victim and a researcher have sent emails to all known addresses of Duel.com casino, requesting that they freeze the relevant funds, and provided all transaction and deposit information. The hacker deposited 229.72497255 ETH, worth $445,000, into Duel.com casino, funds originating from the Coldcard attack involving approximately 30 BTC. The victim stated that Duel.com casino responded by saying that the police would need to contact their team. Duel.com casino's anti-money laundering policy claims that it enforces Know Your Customer procedures and complies with all applicable laws. Duel.com casino was notified just minutes after the relevant deposit was completed. To date, Duel.com casino has not frozen the relevant funds; since most of the West was already past midnight at the time of the incident, police reports cannot be filed until at least Monday. If Duel.com casino does not freeze the relevant funds, the victim will take legal action against them. Duel.com casino's X account has been suspended, and Galaxy's Head of Research has also flagged on X individuals suspected to be associated with them, including team members and dealers: @korraflow, @atrois7, @MiaMalkova.
