Odaily reported that as server processor prices continue to rise, Intel and AMD are signing longer-term data center CPU procurement agreements with Chinese server clients. These agreements typically lock in procurement quantities but not prices, with most supply cycles lasting about one year. Some clients are discussing procurement commitments of two years or more.
According to reports, CPU prices in the Chinese server market are still climbing, with some products seeing monthly increases of over 10%. Since the beginning of this year, the cumulative increase has already exceeded 40%. (Reuters)
