Transfer volume surges over 170 times, June tokenized stock monthly transfer volume reaches $9.22 billion

Odaily Planet Daily News a16z crypto stated that the monthly transfer volume of tokenized stocks reached $9.22 billion in June this year, an increase of more than 170 times from $53 million in June last year. This metric measures all on-chain related activities, including transactions, transfers between wallets, and depositing collateral into DeFi protocols.

a16z crypto pointed out that compared to the traditional stock market with monthly trading volumes in the trillions of dollars, the scale of the tokenized stock market is still small, but more and more issuers and platforms are launching tokenized stocks.
