Hong Kong SFC Grants Virtual Asset Trading Platform License to NewBX, Number of Licensed Platforms Rises to 13

Odaily Planet Daily News According to the latest update on the official website of the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission, Bixin, the digital asset trading platform under NewBX Limited, has obtained a license to operate a virtual asset trading platform. The institution is authorized to conduct regulated activities of Type 1 (dealing in securities) and Type 7 (providing automated trading services), and has also been licensed under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing Ordinance to operate a virtual asset trading platform. As of now, the number of licensed virtual asset trading platforms in Hong Kong has increased to 13, with 6 virtual asset trading platform applicants.
