German company AllUnity plans to launch a Swedish Krona stablecoin and introduce AI agent payments
Odaily Planet Daily News German stablecoin startup AllUnity, a joint venture supported by DWS, Flow Traders, and Galaxy Digital (GLXY), plans to launch a stablecoin backed by the Swedish Krona, while also introducing new payment infrastructure for transactions executed by AI agents.
AllUnity, headquartered in Frankfurt, stated on Wednesday that its stablecoin SEKAU will be fully backed by Swedish Krona reserves and issued in accordance with the EU's Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) framework. The stablecoin is scheduled to launch in June, subject to final regulatory and operational approvals.
Additionally, AllUnity has launched "Agent Payments," a payment system built for AI-driven transactions. This infrastructure allows businesses to accept payments initiated by autonomous software agents and settle funds directly into local bank accounts.
