Forecast market revenue reached $156 million, Robinhood's second-quarter transaction revenue increased 44% year-on-year

Odaily Planet Daily News: Robinhood's second-quarter forecast market revenue surpassed cryptocurrency and stock trading revenue, driving total transaction revenue up 44% year-on-year to $776 million. Specifically, event contract revenue was $156 million, cryptocurrency trading revenue was $100 million (down 38% year-on-year), and stock trading revenue was $129 million. Robinhood's total net revenue in the second quarter increased 32% year-on-year to $1.31 billion, while net profit rose 48% year-on-year to $573 million. The nominal trading volume of cryptocurrencies reached $40 billion, including $22 billion from Bitstamp. Robinhood entered the forecast market in October 2024, launched a forecast market hub in March this year, and rolled out the CFTC-licensed exchange Rothera in June.
