Both Japanese and South Korean stock markets are falling, with the Korea KOSPI index dropping 4% intraday.

According to Gate data, the Korea KOSPI index fell sharply by 4% intraday, breaking below the 5800-point mark and is currently at 5781.28 points. SK Hynix fell nearly 8%, while Samsung Electronics dropped over 3%. The Nikkei 225 index fell 1% intraday.
