Odaily reports that sports merchandise and betting platform Fanatics will acquire federally regulated exchanges and clearing houses owned by BGC to launch and settle its own prediction market operations.
Fanatics and BGC also plan to develop new market data products that combine prediction market activities with traditional financial market data. This deal allows Fanatics to enter the prediction market space, competing directly with platforms such as Kalshi and Polymarket.
